The Birmingham Cathedral Summer Organ Series runs from Friday 16 June until Friday 11 August, with performances at 1310 – 1350.
Every year we welcome a range of talented performers to put our marvellous Nicholson organ through its paces.

From some of the finest established organists locally, to emerging talents, to performers from further afield. You can hear them all for FREE (though we do suggest a £5 donation if you are able) performing some of the finest compositions written for the organ, cheeky miniatures, and rip-roaring orchestral transcriptions. Whether you’re a seasoned recital-attender or a curious first-timer, we would love to see you at one of these recitals!
If you want to know more about those taking part, please view our Summer Organ Series Booklet. This contains all the information about our recitalists, as well as the pieces they will be performing.
In the booklet you can also find out about some other upcoming events. These include a singing recital by local tenor Benjamin Thompson, the Divine Beauty Schools’ Project Concert, and the Divine Beauty Concert with music from Birmingham Cathedral Choir.
