Lunchtime Music Recital – Noah Layzell

All are welcome to join us for a free lunchtime concert of music! This week we welcome Noah Layzell to the cathedral for a concert of classical guitar music.
Noah Layzell is a Classical Guitarist from Hertfordshire, living in Birmingham. As a teenager, he attended Junior Guildhall and was a member of the National Youth Guitar Ensemble. The year he left school, Noah won the Alan Kettley Prize for music for his contributions to the department. In 2018 he was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where he won the Conservatoire Guitar Prize in March of 2022.
He has been giving concerts from a young age, performing both solo and as part of a Guitar Trio. He has presented virtuosic programmes with a range of repertoire, from 17th Century to contemporary music.
