Public theology

At Birmingham Cathedral, we seek to reflect on and think through together what it means to be a new cathedral in the middle of a busy city and a predominantly urban diocese.

We offer a number of opportunities for this.  Our annual Gore Lecture (named after our first Bishop) is held each year in early autumn.

We also plan to hold a number of other events and conversations each year.  One of these strands is to help us consider contested heritage and sensitive history.

Please keep an eye on the website for upcoming events, or if you would like to join our mailing list, please email enquiries.
