Loving Father,
we turn to you in shock and distress
following the tragic death of children
in the lake at Babbs Mill Park.
It is hard to comprehend such horror,
and all that it will mean for their families and friends.
Hold them in your love
and help us to trust that you are in our midst,
even in the bleakest circumstances.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
