Free group tours
We are pleased to be able to announce that we have resumed our regular free tours of the cathedral during July and August 2024.
These tours are free to join, and are led by our knowledgeable volunteer tour guides.
Each guide has their own passion and style, and will be happy to answer any questions your have and tailor the experience to the group attending. Tours will generally cover the history of the cathedral, with a particular focus on our beautiful stained-glass windows designed by Edward Burne-Jones.
There is no need to book to attend these free tours, just meet us at the main entrance to the cathedral.

Donations to support the work of the cathedral can be made via cash or card during your visit.

Private group tours
Bookable private group tours cost £5 per person (£4 for concessions* and £2 for under 16s) for between 30 minutes and an hour. We can accommodate groups of up to 20 people.
Tours are led by our knowledgeable and experienced tour guides, who can tailor your experience to your requirements. You can learn about our heritage, discover our stunning stained-glass windows, find out about Cathedral Square, or explore the Christian faith in the context of our cathedral church.
*Concessions cover those over the age of 65, under 18, and students.
Educational visits
If you are a school, youth or educational group, please make an enquiry about an educational visit. These are currently charged at £2 per student.
We hope to resume our regular advertised tours shortly.
