Budding artists aged 7-11 are invited to create their very own piece of street art at Birmingham Cathedral during half term!

Children will take part in a day of workshops, using spray paint and other street art methods. They will create something to take home, but also contribute to a larger piece of work to be kept at the cathedral.

These exciting workshops follow the popularity of Joe Miles’ street art inspired by our stained-glass windows, created on our east end hoarding during our conservation works in 2023.

The sessions will be overseen by our Head of Learning, and supported by our fully DBS-checked education guides.

  • Tues 28 and Wed 29 May
  • 1000 – 1400
  • Ages 7 – 11
  • Lunch included
  • FREE (places are limited so must be booked in advance)

We are able to offer this opportunity free of charge, including the provision of lunch for all children, thanks to the generous support of National Lottery Players, via a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of the Divine Beauty Project.
